A plaza honors the legacy of the University of Tennessee's athletic program.
Once a nondescript entrance to the sports complex, the Doug Dickey Hall of Fame Plaza has been transformed into a destination for athletes, alumni, and fans and a peaceful space for students. The plaza is named after Hall of Famer Doug Dickey, a beloved football coach and athletic director who served the University for 22 years.
Engraved pavers, educational signage, and the Lettermen’s Wall commemorate athletic achievements.
The central seating area features a pair of raised “Power T” planters, another homage to Coach Dickey, who introduced the Power T into the football tradition.
The Lettermen’s Wall of Fame memorializes UT athletes dating back to the 1890s and looks forward to future stars.
